Dr. Joseph A. Arena, M.D.

Joseph A. Arena, M.D. is a Board- Certified Dermatologist with offices located in Plantation and Hallandale. He performs a blend of dermatologic and cosmetic/aesthetic services. Dr. Arena provides patients with the latest laser technology and expertise in the field of Dermatology. Dr. Arena also offers his patients specially formulated skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care regimen. In addition to his expertise in skin care, Dr Arena has an Aesthetician on premises to perform professional facials.

Dr. Arena completed his undergraduate studies at LeMoyne College and received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Los Angeles County General Hospital.  Dr. Arena then served as a Chief Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force. After Dr. Arena completed his Air Force service he returned to Florida where he completed his residency in Dermatology at University of Miami School of Medicine.

Dr. Arena is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and served as an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He has hospital appointments with Westside Regional Hospital, Aventura Medical Center, Memorial Regional Medical Center, and Hollywood Medical Center.
