Lynora
A. Curtis, D.O., F.A.O.C.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist
practicing in Lake Worth, Florida. She performs general adult
and pediatric dermatology.
Dr.
Curtis received her Medical Degree from Nova Southeastern
University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and completed her
Internship in Family Medicine at Palmetto General Hospital in
Hialeah, Florida. She performed her Residency in Dermatology
through Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington,
Florida. During her residency Dr. Curtis spent a great deal of
time training with many of the clinical Dermatologists
affiliated with the University of Miami.
Dr.
Curtis has authored journal publications and lectured at the
national level. She
was the recipient of the Koprince Education Award of
Excellence during her residency. She enjoys teaching
dermatology residents that rotate through her office as well
as teaching patients about their skin conditions.
Dr.
Curtis is actively involved in raising awareness of skin
cancer and promoting sun safety.
She regularly volunteers for community skin cancer
screenings. One of her special interests is using dermoscopy
in evaluating lesions for the early detection of skin cancer,
including melanoma.
