Garry B. Gewirtzman, M.D.

Garry B. Gewirtzman, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist practicing in Plantation. He performs a blend of dermatologic and cosmetic/aesthetic services. Dr. Gewirtzman provides patients with the latest laser technology and expertise in the field of Dermatology. He also offers his patients specially formulated skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care regimen. An office based Aesthetician is always available to perform professional facials.

Dr. Gewirtzman graduated from Rutgers University and received his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Miami and performed his residency in the Department of  Dermatology at the State University of New York, where he earned the position of Chief Resident during his final year.    

Dr. Gewirtzman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of  the American Academy of Dermatology and served as Assistant Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at State University of New York at Buffalo. He is the recipient of AMA Physicians Recognition Awards, and numerous American Academy of Dermatology CME Awards. Additionally, he was selected for Marquis Who’s Who in the World.  Dr.Gewirtzman has made presentations at scientific meetings, and has written two books. He has authored and co-authored published articles, and is a member in community organizatons.
