Betty Bellman, M.D., is a Board Certified Dermatologist in private practice since 1995. From her office located at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami, Florida she performs General Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology, and is an expert in the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases such as molluscam contagiosum, general herpes and warts. Additionally, she treats a wide range of skin, hair and nail diseases. Some of these conditions include psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hives, insect bites, vitiligo, eczema, allergic contact dermatitis, impetigo, nail fungus, hair-loss, warts, acne, rosacea and alopecia areata. A narrow band ultraviolet light box unit is available for treatment of vitiligo, psoriasis, generalized itching, eczema, atopic dermatitis and other skin disorders.

Dr. Bellman has over 16 years of experience in cosmetic dermatology using injectable fillers, such as Botox®, Juvederm®, Restylane®, Prevelle Silk, Radiesse and Sculptra. She also performs sclerotherapy for spider veins, laser therapy for broken capillaries and hair removal, Pixel laser and chemical peels. She offers laser treatment for nail fungus and performs lipo-dissolve as well.

Dr. Bellman was born in Montreal, Canada and moved to Florida in 1981. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Miami earning her Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Biology and Fine Arts. She received her Medical Degree from University of Miami School of Medicine. After one year of Internship in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Dr. Bellman completed her first year Fellowship in Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. She completed her Residency at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery.

Dr. Bellman is an accomplished lecturer and has authored and co-authored over 25 published journal articles and book chapters. She is the recipient of awards from the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Bellman holds an appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology. She is well known in the community for performing comprehensive mole and skin cancer screenings. She speaks English, French, and some Yiddish, Hebrew, and Spanish.

Dr. Bellman offers her patients specially formulated skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care regimen. An office based Aesthetician is always available to perform professional facials.
