Dr.
Robin
I. Shecter is a Board Certified Dermatologist practicing in Delray Beach
and Wellington, Florida. She performs a blend of dermatology,
dermatologic surgery and cosmetic/aesthetic services.
Dr.
Shecter completed her undergraduate studies at the State
University of New York at Stony Brook where she was on the
Dean’s List. She was a recipient of a scholarship to a
Master of Science Program in Science Education at Syracuse
University. Dr. Shecter received her medical degree from New
York College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received
multiple honors and then performed an Osteopathic Rotating
Internship at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida.
Dr. Shecter then continued on to complete a residency in
Family Practice at Palmetto General Hospital. She practiced as
a board certified family physician in Sunrise, Florida for
almost three years. She then performed her Residency in
Dermatology at Wellington Regional Medical Center and stayed
on as a faculty member of the Dermatology Residency Program at
Wellington Regional Medical Center.
Dr.
Shecter has co-authored several articles for publication in
her dermatology residency program. She is the recipient of a
Koprince award for a lecture given at a National Dermatologic
meeting. Dr. Shecter offers her patients specially formulated
skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised
skin care regimen.
