Janet
C. Teltscher, M.D. is an Ivy-League trained, board certified
dermatologist with 15 years of experience practicing from
offices located in North
Aventura and Delray Beach. In addition to the
prevention and treatment of skin cancer, Dr. Teltscher’s
practice also focuses on general dermatology and cosmetic
dermatology. In her office, she administers collagen and
Botox, treats brown spots and sun damage, has a laser for the
permanent removal of unwanted hair and performs sclerotherapy
treatments for unwanted leg veins.
Additionally,
she offers her patients specially formulated skin care
products for use as part of a physician skin care regimen.
Dr.
Teltscher’s practice focuses on all age groups, pediatrics
through adults, and one of her main concerns is the prevention
of skin cancer.
Dr.
Teltscher received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Harvard
University and an M.D. from the College of Physicians &
Surgeons at Columbia University. She completed an internship
in the Department of Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve
University in Cleveland, Ohio and a residency in the
Department of Dermatology at the same hospital.
Dr.
Teltscher is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology
and was awarded the Miriam
Berkman Spotnitz Award for Excellence in Original
Dermatological Research from Columbia University.
