Cynthia Tie, M.D.

Dr. Cynthia Tie, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist with her office located in Tallahassee.  She performs a blend of dermatologic and cosmetic services for adults and children.

Dr. Tie received her medical degree from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands, School of Medicine and performed her internship at Marshall University in West Virginia.  Her residency in dermatology and surgery was performed at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.  She remained on faculty for several years at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology before moving to Tallahassee in 2002.

Dr. Tie is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, has performed extensive research in her field and has co-authored numerous published articles for a variety of medical and dermatological journals.

Dr. Tie provides patients with the latest expertise in the field of dermatology.   Her special interests include dermatologic manifestations of systemic disease, pediatric dermatology, skin cancer and contact dermatitis.  She has an affinity for cutaneous surgery and reserves time in her schedule every day for procedures such as; skin cancer and cyst removal.  With respect to cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Tie offers Botox, Collagen, chemical peels and sclerotherapy treatments for unwanted leg veins.  She also offers her patients specially formulated skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care regimen.
